Felicia Daxberg, PR Executive and Ballet Dancer for Ballroom Blitzz, one of Sweden’s most beautiful lifestyle stores, shares her day with us. 

Q. How do you start your day?

A. 6 o’clock my alarm goes off.  Firstly I brush my teeth before anything else.  I do my skincare routine and drink a big glass of water.  I post a picture on our Instagram page, I am their PR Director.  In ballet clothes, I arrive at my performing arts school which I attend during the day and start with an inspirational Pilates warm-up.

Q. What gets you going? (exercise/wellbeing routine)

A. Becoming a dancer has helped me to become more healthy and mentally strong.  You get to know your body’s limits and become the best version of yourself.  Except dance, I love to meet with new people because I can’t really be alone.

Q. Where you are most inspired?

A. This may sound cheesy but Instagram has had a huge impact lately and I do get a lot of inspiration from the app.  Sometimes you would never get the chance to know about things if they hadn’t popped up on the phone’s screen.

Q. You are a successful business woman now but what advice would you give your younger self?

A. Stay focussed on your goals, your peace and happiness.  Don’t waste your time on anything that doesn’t contribute to your own growth.

Q. What cause are you currently championing?

A. I love to help humankind.  Whilst at school I fundraised for women in Africa where they still practice female genital mutilation; a woman’s body is her body!  More recently I raised money for the charity ‘Friends’ which works towards making children feel safer in school.

Q. How do you relax and switch off?

A. I like to go for a long walk with my two dogs by the ocean.

Q. What’s your guilty pleasure?

I love Oatly’s chocolate drink.  It’s made of oats!

Q. You have to choose only one beauty product to use for the next 7 days, what would you pick?

A. Decleor Hydra Floral Multi-Protection Plumping Mask.  It’s the best!

Q. Do you sleep well, what is your bedtime routine?

A. Step 1: Carry out my skincare routine due to old acne.  Step 2: Work with new ideas, events, edit pictures and update the website for Ballroom Blitzz, and The Apartment store.  Step 3: If I have time I love to make homemade Golden Milk to prevent inflammation of the joints.  Then I sleep like a baby.

Q. And the final question… you favourite Holistic Silk item and why?

A. Every time I travel for work or go on a dance audition I bring my favourite Holistic Silk Anti Ageing Eye Mask.  It’s relaxing and it looks cool while I sleep.
